Sam Banks

Sam (b.1885-d.1948) was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, to the union of James and Henrietta Cannon-Banks. Sam married Leola Hill-Cannon, and seven children were born from their union: Mary (b.1919), Sam Jr. (b.1920-d.1992), Thomas (b.1922), Flora Agnes (b.1923), Robert E. (b.1926), Ann Louise (b.1927), and Joe Daniels (b.1935) Banks.

 Sam Jr. (b.1919-d.1992) was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, to the union of Sam Sr. and Leola Hill-Cannon. Sam married Willie Mae Claybrooks, and from their union, seven children were born: Faye, Annette, Martha, Norma Jean, Robert, Johnny, and George Banks.
