Cage Cannon (b.1870-1946) was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, to the union of Isaiah and Tillie Gooch-Cannon. Cage married Mary Ella Cannon, and from their union, twelve children were born: Annie Lee (b,1911-), Mary Francis (b.1917-), Rachel (b.1925-), James E. (b.1923-), Mary Elizabeth. (b.1929-), Ernest (b.1916), Luther James (b.1929-), Leora (b.1912-), Graton (b.1913), Isiah (b.1915-), Ora Elizabeth (b.1928), and Samuel Cage (b.1919-1963).
