Charity (b.1876-d.1953) was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, to the union of Alex and Narcissus Cannon-Perry. Charity married Brad E. Buchanan, and from their union, fourteen children were born: Ross (b.1896-1983), Mary L. (1896), Stephen (1897), B.C. (1900), Cora (b.1905-1930), Ellen (1903-1934), Irene (1905), Jack (1908), Edie (1910), Edward (1912-1967), Dean (1913), Avery (1914), Ary (1914) and Loretta (1917) Buchanan.
